Around 1400 years ago an Irish monk named Aidan embarked on a journey to bring Christianity to the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Northumbria. Avenue Six has taken his story as the basis for a new touring route offering some beautiful new experiences exclusive to the travel trade.

Aidan, Cuthbert, Bede the Venerable and Hild were the superstars of the period. Follow in their footsteps on a journey shaped by Viking raids, from the Scottish Borders to North Yorkshire, visiting the places, Churches, Abbeys and Cathedrals, most closely associated with them.
