Exactly one year on from what would have been the Avenue Six debut at the world’s premier travel trade fair ITB Berlin, the team is gearing up for a busy week – virtually.
Covering appointments from early morning to late evening to enable participation from around the globe, this year there are three new products being offered to independent travel advisors and tour operators looking for something special for their customers.
Sales Director Nick Head said “I’m excited to bring both The Three Kingdoms and Northumbria Saints Trails touring routes to market. There is a lot of interest in trade ready routes to off the beaten path places in Britain just as soon as international travel resumes.”
As well as the routes, the specialist technology platform is being demonstrated. Designed by and for travel advisors, the Avenue Six platform provides the ability to plan and book accommodation, tours and activities in one place – returning live price and date availability – with no need for multiple site searches and wasted hours waiting for responses.
Technology Director James Barber knows it’s a real game changer. “From the moment we realised the problem small independent agents face sourcing boutique, independent, trade ready products we knew there had to be a better way. So we developed one.”
To arrange appointments to discuss The Three Kingdoms or Northumbria Saints Trail touring routes contact Nick Head or James Barber to arrange a demonstration of the agents’ portal.
ITB Berlin NOW 2021 runs from 9- 13 March.
